February 2010 -University of San Francisco Panel in Istanbul
Endeavor entrepreneurs including Pozitron presented their case studies to 20 MBA students from University of San Francisco and fielded questions about their experiences as entrepreneurs in Turkey, followed by a networking cocktail.
The event was called Academic Global Immersion program, organised by Professor Nickolas Imparato and Assistant Professor Mouwafac Sidaoui.
January 2010 -Turkish Entrepreneurs Selected For US Presidential Summit
Five Turkish entrepreneurs reflecting diverse businesses from food delivery to high tech have been selected to participate in the US Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship. A global initiative launched by President Obama in Cairo in June 2009, the Summit initiative will get underway in Washington, D.C. in April 2010. October 2009 - Nearest ATM iPhone App tops the iTunes App Store
“En Yakın ATM” iPhone App is developed by Pozitron for The Interbank Card Center (BKM A.S. )
Users can easily search and display the nearest ATMs in Turkey with this application. Features include, Finding ATMs based on users current location by “My Location” option.
You can zoom in/out the map by placing your two thumbs on the screen and move your thumbs away/towards from each other. Other features are Finding ATMs based on province/district by “ATM Search” option. Displaying the ATMs on the map.

July 2009 - TEB (Türk Ekonomi Bankası) Launches SFA on BlackBerry
Türk Ekonomi Bankası (TEB), partners with the world’s sixth and Eurozone’s largest bank BNP Paribas since 2005, has started using Pozitron mobile SFA solution to capture credit card applications on BlackBerry devices.
TEB is aiming to improve efficiency and resources and cut costs with Pozitron's BlackBerry solution. Using the BlackBerry SFA solution, the Pozitron SFA (Sales Force Automation) Engine and an administrative web application, the sales team at TEB can collect credit card applications and send the completed forms, associated materials and client identity references directly to the database via a BlackBerry smartphone. This BlackBerry-based SFA application is used by approximately 100 sales staff at TEB Turkey.

A Global financial brand Fortis' Turkey branch is active in Retail, Corporate and Merchant Banking and Asset Management. Having a SalesForce of over 100 agents, Fortis Turkey wanted to digitise its credit card application processing.
For this project Fortis Turkey chose Pozitron's cutting edge SmartForce SFA technology that guarantees a fast, reliable and secure automation solution. February 2009 - OpenID mobile authentication service "Sifreyok" launches
Pozitron had recently announced that the company will offer an OpenID authentication service in collaboration with Turkcell and using Valimo's Mobile Signature technology.

BlackBerry Customers Seminar is organised yearly by Research In Motion Turkey, to show RIM customers the solutions in the BlackBerry environment. January 2009 - Columbia Business School IDC program works with Pozitron
This year 3 students from Columbia Business School have been invited to Istanbul to work with Pozitron, on streamlining the company’s product offering, sales strategy and marketing collaterals. The Columbia Business School team worked remotely from New York with Pozitron over 4 months prior to working in the Pozitron office for 2 weeks.
Each semester, the International Development Club (IDC) of Columbia matches student teams with organizations around the world to work on over a dozen consulting projects. December 2008 - Presenting at the "Mobile Signature" project meeting
The GSMA has organised a Mobile Signature project meeting in Istanbul in order to asses Mobile Signature case studies. Pozitron was invited to present its Mobile Signature integration with its mobile banking product, ISCEP. This case is among the first application based Mobile Signature integrations worldwide.
The GSMA is the global trade group for the mobile industry representing 750 GSM mobile phone operators across 200 countries and territories worldwide and over 200 manufacturers / suppliers. It is also the producer of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
December 2008 - Microsoft FOREFRONT EDGE (IAG) partnership with Pozitron
On the 3rd of December 2008, Microsoft announced a partnership with Pozitron in Integrating Second Factor Authentication with Microsoft’s IAG Platform. In this solution Microsoft IAG users will be able to incorporate second factor authentication through Pozitron's SoftKEY offerings.
November 2008 - Finalist in the BlackBerry Innovation Awards
Pozitron’s mobile banking application Iscep developed for Is Bank became a finalist at the BlackBerry Innovation Awards that was held in Monaco. "Life On BlackBerry" category award was given to a partner company which developed the best application to the consumer segment. September 2008 - Turkcell’s OpenID integration is developed by Pozitron.
Turkcell Iletisim AS, Turkey’s largest GSM operator will soon announce that it will act as an OpenID server-agent. Any Turkcell customer that uses “Turkcell Mobile Signature” will be able to log on to OpenID enabled websites without having to open different sessions for each website. That means the company will verify the identities of their 40 million users immediately, without the need for another account to be created, for any other site on the web that supports OpenID.

Pozitron and the GLAB team was invited to a TV show about new economy at the national SKYTURK television. SKYTURK TV is a news channel that broadcasts on cable tv and live stream online covering news, sports, technology, economy, and more.
January 2008 - Pozitron welcomes MIT students for the G-Lab project
Global Entrepreneurship Lab (G-Lab) is the flagship international internship course offered at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Pozitron was chosen as one of the host companies to welcome a G-Lab team. The team worked on Pozitron's expansion strategy in the global market.
November 2007 - Fatih İşbecer talks at MIT
Pozitron founder and CEO Fatih İşbecer was a panelist at the Sloan School of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He talked about the “Challenges of being an Entrepreneur in Emerging Markets” during a G-LAB class of MIT Sloan School.
November 2007 - Pozitron attends the New York tour of Endeavor
Pozitron attended the 10th anniversary of Endeavor in New York City. During the New York stay Endeavor organised business meetings with 10 of the world’s top business leaders who shared their personal stories and offered invaluable business advices to entrepreneurs.
Speakers were Barry Diller,Chairman & CEO of InterActiveCorp (parent company of Ticketmaster, Match.com, Expedia etc.). Janet Robinson the CEO of New York Times and Niklas Zennstrom the developer of Kazaa and founder of Skype.
September 2007 - Turkey's Is Bank Chooses Turkey's Top Technology Firm
Turkey’s largest bank “Türkiye İş Bankası” announced the launch of its mobile banking application “İşCep” which was developed in partnership with Turkey’s leading mobile technology firm Pozitron. In this project, Pozitron designed and integrated one of the most advanced mobile technologies in the world for “Türkiye İş Bankası”
August 2007 - Pozitron IMB gets TUBITAK support
Aiming to fasten the process of conversion of the technology to profit, Technology and Innovation Funding Programs Directorate (TEYDEB) was established to fund the technology development and innovation activities of the companies in Turkey. Thus, it is targeted to increase research-technology development capability, innovation culture, and competitiveness of Turkish companies. Pozitron’s mobile banking (IMB) product has earned funding and support from national science association’s TEYDEB programme.
June 2007 - Endeavor Global chooses Pozitron as high-impact entrepreneur
Endeavor Global (www.endeavor.org) is an organization which promotes entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Pozitron was chosen among 300 candidates. The company will benefit from having a mentor and an advisory board to provide know-how and assistance in developing the future strategy.
March 2007 - Pozitron at Mobile Monday Istanbul
Mobile Monday community promotes the mobile industry and fosters cooperation and networking among industry people and their companies by providing opportunities for personal and virtual contacts. Pozitron CEO Fatih İşbecer made a presentation at the 5th Mobile Monday event held in Turkcell headquarters. The theme of this meeting was "New Approaches to Mobile Communications: Reflections on the Marketing World".
April 2007 - Finalist in the NFC (Near field Communications) Competition
Touching the future is the 1st European NFC competition. It is organized in conjunction with the European Near Field Communication Developers Summit which will be held on 18 April 2007 during WIMA 2007 at Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Our security based project made it to the finals of this competition. The winners will be announced in Monaco.

September 2006 - Mobile Akşam campaign is launched !
One of the most sophisticated mobile newspaper applications in the world, Mobile Akşam was launched on the 18th of September. Akşam newspaper which adapted Pozitron’s mobile newspaper application belongs to one of Turkey’s largest media groups, including 4 newspapers, 16 magazines, 2 TV networks and 2 radio stations.
September 2006 - Pozitron Mobile TV player was exhibited in CEBIT
Developed for Digiturk, region’s largest digital platform & Pay TV, Pozitron mobile TV player enables streaming video under GPRS/EDGE network. This product was introduced to public during CEBIT Bilisim Eurasia. Its user friendly interface lets subscribers to use their mobile phone as a remote control. Digiturk will launch its Mobile TV service at the end of 2006.

CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia (5-10 September 2006) is the largest IT fair in the region. August 2006 - Pozitron joins the Orange partner program.
Pozitron joined the Orange partner program as mobile application developer. Within this program our firm will be able to use services and products provided by Europe’s one of the largest GSM operator Orange. Pozitron is the developer of the first Turkish mobile application approved by Orange (Javaverified). Pozitron’s premium partnership is pending.

Pozitron became the fastest executed principal partner of Sun Microsystems in 96 countries. Our Boomerang solution which was developed on Solaris platform earned us this outstanding achievement. There are only 8 principal partners of Sun Microsystems in the world.
