POZITRON MOBILE DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM (MDP)

Mobile application development is complicated by several types of devices, a multitude of operating systems and numerous development platforms. Designing and developing a mobile application that works across mobile devices entails a testing phase that needs to be repeated for each type of device.

Pozitron’s Mobile Development Platform (MDP) abstracts the complexities of the underlying device from application development and hence streamlines development on mobile platforms. MDP ensures device compatibility and allows the developer to focus on application development alone.

The MDP is the result of 900 person days of R&D effort. Our experience has shown that development on MDP takes about 30% of the effort on developing directly on a mobile platform.

This is excluding the testing effort across multiple devices and compatibility issues that are likely to arise. We have been able to turn around complex mobile applications in a fraction of time taken under a typical mobile application development cycle.

Apart from the building blocks for application development, MDP also integrates seamlessly with other Pozitron products such as Boomerang for messaging, to provide value-added features to customers.
